On the role of books in human life and society. Why is it so important to take books carefully.

Happy is the person who is friends with the book, and, in my opinion, is not more unhappy than the one who does not like to read. After all, reading a book is not just getting any information, it is an immersion in the fantasy world of a huge number of very different and very talented authors. Or maybe not fantasies, but real experiences, real travels and much, much more.

Book or movie? Someone will say that films may well replace books, but this is not so. How can the images chosen by someone, even the most talented scriptwriters and directors, be better than ourselves invented? Reading, we not only imagine heroes, but also experience certain emotions in relation to them. The book can be read many times and, surprised, all the time to find something new. But films made from books are most often watched only once, accepting and evaluating the work of the film crew and comparing them with the original book.

The book is a source of knowledge! How much interesting and incredible can be learned from books: about love, happiness, distant lands. And encyclopedias and dictionaries will answer any, even the most difficult question.

A book is a great way to spend leisure time. After all, there is nothing better than a pleasant evening in the company of an interesting book: a novel, a detective story or someone else's memoirs. It is not so important that each of us loves which genre he prefers. The main thing is to read and enjoy all these "letters", getting incomparable pleasure.
